Sorry for all of the rapid-fire posts over the course of this past day. I will be trying to update this blog more frequently nowadays as I complete it.
I was sketching microraptors the other day, and in several them I stopped the plumage at the same point on the head that you did. I feel a bit better about myself for not having the feathers go all the way to the mouth now.
